I mentioned in November in one of my weekly things that make smile posts that my mom had mailed me my birthday present with strict instructions that I was to take care of it right away and not wait until my birthday in March to open it. She sent me about three dozen assorted daffodil bulbs that needed to be planted right away so they would be up and blooming for my birthday in March. The best part of my birthday was that she got to see my daffodils blooming in my front yard.
She even had to count them!
My roommate's cab driver commented that we have a happy garden.
See, she's still counting them.
I love my early spring garden this year. It's been so fun to see my crocuses, hyacinths, tulips, and daffodils poke their heads up and put on their spring finery. It just makes me happy. Thanks Mom!
